Sloth can’t raise his head. He is lazy and flops over the top cushion. Even his base has its own cushion to rest on. He emanates apathy. An ornate Christian cross trails behind him on two wheels ready for movement and activity but Sloth won’t go.

The railings that hold the two frames around the title Sloth are on mini bases like landing pads and have no implication of movement. The arced supports slope over the edge of the plinth to do their job, holding the viewing frame over the word Sloth.

Sloth has a crest that rises with a flourish but does so on the vertical axis to minimise its energy despite its potential. This indicates character but Sloth can’t do anything about it just now.
