Monoflex is presenting its third project, RESISTENZA, with an exhibition by Italian artist Giacomo Toth. Uniquely, Toth, a former yacht designer, focuses on expressing physical characteristics that embody lightness, agility, flexibility, softness, and adaptability. The theme Resistenza, meaning “resistance” in Italian, aims to convey actions or attitudes of standing up against oppression or injustice.
What do we perceive? How do we perceive and how deep do our perceptions go? Can we understand or feel those around us? Sometimes, yes. sometimes, no.
The complexity of people and all their different points of view is fascinating. These are some of the questions I have asked myself in my life.

Monoflex 세 번째 프로젝트 RESISTENZA로 이태리 출신 작가 Giacomo Toth의 기획전을 개최합니다. 특이하게도 요트 디자이너 출신인 그는 가벼움, 민첩성, 유연성, 부드러움, 유연함에 대한 감각들을 신체적 특징으로 표현하는 데 초점을 맞추었습니다. 이번 주제 “Resistenza”는 이태리어로 저항을 뜻하는 말로 일반적으로 억압에 맞서거나 불의에 저항하는 행동이나 태도를 표현하고자 했습니다.
우리는 무엇을 인식하는가? 우리는 어떻게 인식하며, 우리의 인식은 얼마나 깊이 가는가? 우리는 주변 사람들을 이해하거나 느낄 수 있는가? 때로는 그렇고, 때로는 그렇지 않다.
사람들과 그들의 다양한 관점의 복잡성은 매력적이다. 이것들은 제가 제 인생에서 스스로에게 던진 질문들 중 일부입니다.
