I tried to create a sense of being on stage as a Lover. The lights are there to create a sculptural arena for the Lover, combining stage with a four-poster bed. His plinth has a relief design of concentric circles and he is at the centre. Everything leads to the Lover. He needs chutzpah to be identified as Lover. The spots and large circular accessory perhaps gives a sense of peacock to the Lover.
